After feeling unfulfilled in my long career as an analyst in Corporate America, I took a road trip up the coast of California to have a chat with God. I didn’t know what to expect, but I felt God was calling me to work with churches and ministries.

For seven days, I prayed and fasted while driving up Pacific Highway One, and on the last day of the road trip, God answered my cries on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

What happened next was nothing but God!

Nine months later, I received the opportunity to work in full-time ministry with the Baptist General Convention of Texas as their social media specialist.

Through the state convention, I have been blessed to teach social media management to churches, college students, and pastors around the world. I have also assisted hundreds of churches in Texas with content management, church marketing, social media strategies, and more.

Today, I serve as the marketing specialist for the Woman’s Missionary Union of Texas, also known as WMU of Texas.
