Questions

  • Fill in the blank: Today, I’m thankful for _________.

  • When do you feel the farthest from God? (respond to every comment)

  • How can we pray for you today? (Include link to web prayer form)

  • We’re curious. Why did you make (insert church name) your church home?

Family-Oriented

  • Share a video tutorial of a fun family activity from children’s church.

  • Share three family movies to watch on Amazon Prime when snowed-in.

  • Ask audience: What’s your favorite Super Bowl Sunday dish?

Local Community

  • Coffee Shop Series: Invite your youth director and students to visit local coffee shops. Capture video and photo content throughout the experience. Create a report of the top places to visit for: best coffee, best place to study, and best food. Share results on your website, and/or create an Instagram guide, Facebook page article, or a regular post.

Behind-The-Scenes

  • Documentary Style Video: Follow a new member through the membership process at your church. Share the video on social & post to your website.

About the Church

  • Share three ministry achievements from the previous month.

  • Capture videos of different members reciting the church’s mission statement. Edit the video so that each person is saying one word of the statement.

  • Share how the church is being on mission beyond your community. Share a personal story from a person that has benefited from the church’s efforts.

Love-Themed

  • Share a love-themed Christian playlist.

  • Educate: Is love a feeling or an action?

  • Mission project opportunity: Ask audience to create small gifts for local nursing home residents or first responders. The church will do the activity too. Record/take pictures of the recipients with the gifts.

  • Share photos of your church loving your neighbors.

  • Late-night post: Remind your followers they are loved by God.

Discipleship

  • Share a weekly morning prayer (1/day a week) led by various leaders.

  • Ask audience: Share a screenshot or image of a Bible verse that spoke to you this week.

  • Student Testimony (text & photo or a video post): What has God taught you this week?

  • Educate: Share what Christians mean when they say, “Follow God”.
